Jennifer López y otras famosas que enseñaron mucho en los Ameriacan Music Awards

La cantante estadounidense Taylor Swift y la banda británica One Direction fueron los grandes triunfadores en la gala de los premios American Music 2015 celebrada la noche de este domingo en el teatro Microsoft de Los Ángeles (Estados Unidos), y presentada por Jennifer López.

Swift, quien no asistió al evento ya que se encuentra en plena gira de conciertos, acumulaba el mayor número de nominaciones (seis en total) y ganó en tres de ellas: Canción del Año por 'Blank space', Álbum Favorito en Pop Rock por 1989 y Artista Favorita Adulta Contemporánea.

A su vez, la banda británica One Direction consiguió los premios Artista del Año (por segundo año consecutivo) con su canción Drag Me down, y también ganó el premio a Mejor Álbum de Pop Rock por tercer año consecutivo, con el disco 'Made In The A.M'.

"Es absolutamente increíble recibir este premio dos años seguidos. Es un testimonio de lo increíble que son nuestros fans", dijo el miembro de la banda Louis Tomlinson.

Otros de los premiados de la noche fueron Nicky Minaj, en las categorías de artista favorita y álbum favorito en rap-hip-hop por 'The pinkprint'; y Florida Georgia Line, con dos galardones en la categoría dúo o grupo de country, y por mejor álbum de country por 'Anything Goes'.

Sam Smith ganó el galardón a artista masculino en pop rock; The weeknd, el de artista favorito en soul/rap; y Justin Bieber en mejor colaboración con Skrillex & Diplo por 'Where Are Ü Now, mientras Enrique Iglesias recibió el premio al artista favorito latino.
